EMPIRE x IGTV Present: Cover Story

In a partnership effort between EMPIRE Records and IGTV, I produced and co-directed a few episodes of its pioneer show Cover Story, to shed lights on some of the artists behind your favorite album cover arts.

The following episodes feature bay area’s own Ayo and Miggs, who respectively created album art for artist Rexx Life Raj and Larry June.

Lost Eden: The birthplace of wine

Lost Eden, a red blend from the country of Georgia, which also happens to have invented winemaking 8,000 years ago (!)

As we launch this prestigious Georgian wine brand into the world, I edited a series of documentary videos featuring its winemakers talking about the defining culture of feasting, drinking, dancing, and of courser, winemaking.

And yes, their dinner (or Supra) lasted well over six hours. We streamed the entire footage on their website!

The Body Shop - Flex Your Vote

As part of the “Be Seen Be Heard” youth initiative project, The Body Shop launched an online and in-store effort to encourage more youth under the age of 24 to participate in voting.

As a result, 1.2M+ registered voters through the be seen be heard campaign; 42M+ Americans reached during an election that changed congress.

The Body Shop - Pride Month Campaign

In response to the Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill, we partnered with The Body Shop, an activist-forward brand dating back to its founding in 1970s, to quickly launch its “We Don’t Just Say Gay” online and global in-store campaign to take a stand to support the 2SLGBTQ+ cause.

EMPIRE x Tequila Herradura

To kick off the #WomensHistoryMonth initiative, EMPIRE partners with Tequila Herradura to debut a special series “In Her Words” ft. fellow artists to highlight female empowerment and strength, struggle and growth they experience in their career.
